Notibo is built in Odense by Farhad Ba-Ali
Notibo records lectures, reads slides and writes structured notes and flashcards. It is made by one person, in Odense, Denmark, under the company Ba-Ali Tech, and it is built for students first.
Why it exists
Notibo started as a hobby. I was inspired by some of the AI apps I had come across, and my brothers encouraged me to build something that could make life easier for students. The idea was simple: be present in the lecture instead of scribbling notes by hand, and then get the structure you can actually study from afterwards.
The hobby turned into a product. Today Notibo transcribes lectures and meetings and delivers a summary, main points, action items and flashcards, and it turns uploaded slides and documents into notes and flashcards too. Team features for companies are on the roadmap, so colleagues can share notes and collaborate.

What Notibo does, and what it does not do
What it does
- Records a lecture or meeting in the browser, from the microphone or from a tab with its system audio
- Transcribes more than 80 languages, and works out the language itself when you do not pick one
- Writes a summary, main points and action items you can edit
- Turns uploaded PDF, PowerPoint and Word files into notes and flashcards
- Makes flashcards from recordings and schedules them with spaced repetition (Pro)
- Stores your account, recordings and notes in the EU on Supabase (Frankfurt, eu-central-1); transcription and AI notes run on US processors under standard contractual clauses, all named in the privacy policy
What it does not do, yet
- There is no mobile app. Notibo runs in a desktop browser.
- There are no team workspaces. Notes are yours; you share them by read-only link.
- Live transcription while you record is an early experiment and not switched on for accounts.
- It does not replace reading the material. The notes are a way back into the lecture, not a substitute for it.
The company
Notibo is made and run by Ba-Ali Tech, registered in Denmark, with Farhad Ba-Ali as its founder. Notibo has no connection to Notino, the European cosmetics retailer. Different company, different founder, different industry, just a similar name. There is no photo, no user count and no logo wall on this page, because none of them would tell you anything true about whether Notibo works for you. Try the free plan instead.
