Terms of service

These terms describe the rules that apply when you use Notibo. By creating an account, you accept them. Notibo is provided by Ba-Ali Tech v/Farhad Ba-Ali (Danish CVR 43795481).
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Notibo you accept these terms. If you cannot accept them, please don't use the service.
2. What Notibo does
Notibo transcribes audio recordings, generates AI-based notes (summary, key points, action items, flashcards), and provides tools for editing and exporting the content. The service is provided as is — we cannot guarantee 100% accurate transcription or error-free AI notes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Notibo (or have parental consent if you are under 16). Do not share your account with others.
4. Acceptable use
You may only record audio where you are permitted under local law. In Denmark, recording conversations you are not party to without consent is illegal. It is YOUR responsibility to obtain necessary consent before recording — Notibo assumes no responsibility for unlawful recordings made with our tool. You may not use Notibo for unlawful purposes, attempt to circumvent tier limits, reverse-engineer our systems, or scrape data.
5. Payment and refunds
Paid subscriptions (Pro, and later Business) are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Prices are shown in EUR and charged to your registered payment method. You can cancel your subscription anytime via Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the next renewal — you keep Pro features until the end of the period. Refunds are handled per EU consumer rights. If you purchased within the last 14 days and have NOT actively used the service, you have a right of withdrawal. Email support@notibo.net to request a refund.
6. Termination
We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms (e.g. unlawful recordings, abuse of the service). In such cases you'll normally get a warning first. You can delete your account anytime via Settings → Account → Delete my account.
7. No warranty
Notibo is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty that the service is error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. AI-generated content (transcripts, notes, flashcards) may contain errors — you are responsible for verifying it before using it in critical contexts.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notibo's total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months. We are not liable for indirect losses, data loss, lost revenue, or damages caused by third-party services (e.g. Deepgram or Gemini outages). Consumer rights under Danish and EU law are not limited by this clause.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the District Court of Odense, unless you as a consumer have the right to bring a claim before another court under mandatory law.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we'll notify you by email and update the date at the top. If you cannot accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription.
