This Refund Policy describes how Notibo ("we", "us", "our") handles refund requests for paid subscriptions purchased through our platform at notibo.net. By subscribing to Notibo, you agree to this Refund Policy, which forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (EU Consumers)
Under EU consumer law, customers residing in the EU have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase, during which they may request a full refund — provided the service has not been actively used. Eligible for a full refund You are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if all of the following are true: • You have NOT recorded or uploaded more than 10 minutes of audio • You have NOT generated more than 3 AI summaries or structured notes • You have NOT used the service for more than 7 consecutive days Not eligible (digital service exemption) By starting to use Notibo's paid features (e.g., recording lectures, generating AI notes, uploading audio), you explicitly consent to begin the service immediately and acknowledge that you waive your right to a refund for any usage beyond the limits stated above. This is in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), which allows providers to exclude refunds for digital content and services that have been started with the consumer's prior express consent.
2. After the 14-Day Period
After 14 days from your purchase date, no refunds will be issued for any subscription fees already paid. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation: • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle • You retain full access to all paid features until the period ends • Your notes and data remain accessible during this period
3. Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions: • The 14-day cooling-off period applies from the initial purchase date • After the 14-day period, no partial or pro-rata refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the year • You may cancel at any time, but your subscription remains active until the end of the paid annual term
4. Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. • We notify you via email before the renewal date for annual subscriptions • You may disable auto-renewal at any time in your account settings • No refunds will be issued for auto-renewed subscriptions after 14 days from the renewal date, except where required by applicable law
5. Free Tier
Notibo offers a free tier with 30 minutes of recording per month, allowing customers to test the service thoroughly before purchasing a paid subscription. We strongly encourage all users to try the free tier before subscribing.
6. Exceptions
In exceptional cases, we may issue refunds outside this policy at our sole discretion, for example: • Technical errors that prevented you from using the service • Accidental duplicate charges • Extended service unavailability due to our fault • Legal requirements in your jurisdiction
7. How to Request a Refund

8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. • Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider and bank • Refunds are processed via Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor • Currency conversion fees and bank charges (if any) are not refundable
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to: • Suspend or terminate your account • Refuse future service We strongly encourage you to contact us at support@notibo.net first — we are always willing to resolve issues directly.
